Care/ Maintenance
To maintain the beauty of your rug, vacuum regularly using the hard surface attachment of your vacuum. Do not use a beater bar. Periodic dry cleaning for the rug is recommended; if your rug is mildly dirty, a dry cleaning fluid can be used to remove spots.
Over time, threads that hold the braids of the rug together may loosen. Use a needle and strong thread to sew them back together. Never pull loose ends from the rug; trim them instead with a sharp pair of scissors.
For best results, use floor padding beneath your rug. This will help reduce wear and tear caused by friction against the floor. This will also help prevent color dye transfer, as well as increase your safety by preventing rug slippage.
All rugs contain slight color irregularities due to the nature of the dyeing process. What may appear to be an error in the rug's color is actually part of the homespun look. Your rug will arrive tightly packed for shipment; smooth out with hands or pole to remove wrinkles. Over time, the rug will lie flat.
Cleaning and care may vary based on materials.
